You need help?

Have you ever get annoyed by those messages sent by random people requesting help from you?
I have received a handful.
And I am sure you would have gotten a few messages asking you to do a favour if you are on social media. What favour? (liking their pictures or page/ fill in a survey etc)
I was once very annoyed, but I am no longer so.

In the past, when someone asked me for help out of a sudden, I would feel used or being taken advantage of, especially when strangers or friends come to me.
Now when people come to me for help, I would be asking myself:
  1. Why can't I just help them when I have the ability to do so?
  2. What is my loss?
  3. What if I put myself in their shoes/situations?
  4. What if I am joining a contest that requires votes on social media? (only applicable to social media)
Till this day, I am still not a big fan of asking people for likes when it comes to contests going on social media (FB, insta etc) that needs the highest amount of votes to win.
Because it means that I need to disturb peoples life and trouble them to do something which doesn't give them much benefits.

It is difficult to ask for favour, knowing that some people would turn you down and won't lend you a hand no matter what. I understand that we have the choice to not offer help to others, but try to imagine not getting any help from others. How would it feel? e.g. When you are lost and asking directions and no one offers you any help

Some people would not help out at all as they can't see any benefit for them.
What are the benefits gained out of liking someone's picture/post?
Just a thank you ? For some, it is not something they opt for.
They would choose to ignore and claim that they are busy without having a few seconds to spare.
These people don't like to take the time out to help others, but yet they expect others to help them when they are in need.

What goes around, comes around/others treat us how we treat them.
So for those who always turn people down even when they can help should not be complaining about why others don't give them any assistance! And from another perspective, this quote is not to say treating others nicely would guarantee the same response from them, but I believe treating others the way we wanted to be treated is the way we can live to have a more fulfilling life.

Why can't we help whenever we can?
I can't seem to find any reason not to help - (exception for certain scams)
I always believe in helping others would make this planet a better place.
And what do I get in return for being helpful?
I might get nothing, but no reward is needed if we are genuine in helping.
Or the biggest reward might be seeing the happiness in others?

Of course, there is still a lot of people out there who have pure intention in helping others.
But I hope that more people would start treating each other kindly without focusing only on gains such as fun, enjoyment and money purposes.
To be around each other enjoying each other's companionship with a listening ear and supporting hand readily available and connecting at a deeper level without restrictions of being the trueself.

My Top 8 Fav Quotes/Reminders

True connection is to seek for someone whom can be fully with you with the positive & the negative , not someone who needs all of your life to be positive in order to love you.

Comments made by others, good or bad, are all just temporary, only our feelings attached to the comments made it permanent.

What we often think is wrong with us are only our expressions of our own individuality - something unique and special about ourselves.

Failure is only a state of mind - an illusion.

Live strong!

The meaning of life is to find your gift and the purpose of life is to give it away. - Pablo Picasso

Decide that you want it more than you are afraid of it. - Bill Cosby

You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks. - Winston Churchill

What is your motto in life ? =)

Quote of the day:
They laugh at me because I am different.
I laugh at them because they are all the same. - Kurt Cobain
haha it is a great quote in general. But I don't find the need to laugh at others. =P

Nights of Fright 3 @ Sunway Lagoon 2015

Before I even begin to talk about my experience there with my good friends, I give this "fear festival" a big thumbs up for everything the organizer has planned out.
Scaryyyyyy....
If you are interested to go without even seeing my experience (or some spoilers), here are the details about the event:
Every Thursday to Saturday
2 - 31 October 2015
The exact dates: 2nd, 3rd, 8th, 9th, 10th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 29th, 30th and 31st October 2015. (Choose a date and mark it on your calendar and go have fun!)
7.30 pm - 11.30 pm.
*Strictly for 12 years old and above

I enjoyed this whole fear festival, especially the rides (roller coaster, 360 degree ride, wet rides)
And...
In case you are wondering if you will get wet.
There are two wet rides that may wet your clothes/shoes, so prepare some extra clothes if you can't stand getting wet. Or save these two rides for the last.
Wearing slipper would be a better option in this case, but you might not be able to run if "something" chases you. Pick wisely. =D

There are many scare house in the park. But I only went in for two.
It is too much for me to handle for some scare house. I was super afraid even just standing outside the scare house.
And I went in two scare houses as my friends convinced me. I didn't regret as I felt a boost to my self esteem after completing the 2 scare houses rather than feeling scared or traumatized.
I went in twice for a scare house to go with my another friend who refuses to go in first.
And she finally overcomed her fear and went in. So proud of her!
Try the less scary ones first if you are too afraid like me and my friend did.

Enough about my brief experience sharing.
It is better for you guys to go experience it yourself without me giving too much spoilers.
This year, the event will be held for 14 nights. Now only left 9 nights more! as I write this post.
They are roaming around  the park and they are almost everywhere.
The ticket price is quite reasonable and acceptable as there are many attractions & monsters inside.
The best thing is each monster are so into their character and you could also take selfies/wefies with
all of them as you walk around the park. It is RM58 per pax as stated in the official website, but it is cheaper with some T&Cs.

Do check out the official website: www.sunwaylagoon.com/nof3/ for more information!
Some of them are really friendly, they will come near you and almost to the point of touching you.
*who doesn't like monsters approaching you like an long lost friend?
If you have gone to the event, do tell me how it went. Did your voice get hoarse the next day ? haha. Maybe not if you are someone who is brave! Maybe yes if you are scared like me. It was such a memorable experience for me who is timid and not able to watch horror movie to go for such event.

The Frozen Dead of Kevil Hill, chainsaw wielding maniacs, zombies, vampires, Pirate Jack, Mr Chaos & his new bride etc
Group photo session in the end!

Don't hesitate anymore, as you might miss the chance to get scared by all kinds of monster
(some are found in the pic above) and need to wait another year more if there is night of fright 4.

I am not too sure if there will be another one, so definitely go for this and you won’t regret it.

Challenge your fear with some of your friends who think they have the guts! Scream your hearts out and feel the adrenaline pumping all over your body joining this scary but fun "fear festival"! =)

Madame Waffle @ midvalley (waffle-eating night)

I was invited by one of my lovely friends to have dinner at midvalley mall.
Didn't know it is going to be a night full of waffles.
I am on diet now, but who can resist the temptation of the waffles?

WAFFLES WAFFLES WAFFLES

Where is it?

Madame waffle Location:
T-045, Level 3 in Mid Valley Megamall, Mid Valley City in Kuala Lumpur
Just use the escalator across the Magnum cafe!
It is at the same floor as where you buy your movie ticket (GSC cinema)

Sparkling water with a lemon slice in it to enhance the taste.

Me and my uni mates going "cray cray".
haha eating waffles made us go insane (in a good way though).
*Spot who does the same facial expression at the same time? What a coincidence.

Some beverages to try out and enjoy along with waffle, some ice cream and fruits.

Moving on to the waffles!

Their waffles are made out of fine and high-quality ingredients sourced from Japan according to the Internet. And I also heard that the waffles are crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
Thanks to my friends invitation, I get to try it myself first-hand to be writing this post.

When I started eating their waffles like a hungry man who haven't eat for days, I can say that the waffles are really different from the conventional ones we usually eat out there.  (as it taste like a freshly made bread) And what make it even more tasty is THE ICE CREAM !
This is my personal favourite! <3
The chocolate ice cream was smooth and its taste blended well with the waffle and the banana.

*The matcha flavour is just nice without coming off too strong.
Definitely for matcha lovers! I know you want it.=D

2 happy bloggers taking some professional photos!

The one on far right: One of my favourite too, because of the smooth ice cream texture that comes with the crunchiness of the ferroro rochei.

The plating is really beautiful that makes you feel like you are eating in a fine-dining restaurant.

A great option to choose if you are in love with chocolate.
Sea salt dark chocolate chunk
If you are not a person that likes ice cream, then you can go for the classic(just the waffles):
Original, matcha, dark chocolate, almond, honey, cinnamon, peanut butter or sesame.
The best seller would be: original, matcha, dark chocolate and honey.

Eating good foods also make you wanna take selfie. LOL!

Share this together with your partner. =)
Two different flavors on one plate. You can get the best of both worlds!

It is a great place to visit if you want a quick snack to fill your tummy before rushing back to work. It is also a suitable place to meet up for a "yam cha" session.

And another great idea is to celebrate your friends' birthday with the waffles instead of using cake? (Probably would work for friends who doesn't like eating cake.)

Langkawi 3 days 2 nights trip (chapter 2)

Day 2 of my langkawi trip begun very early in the morning. We woke up at 7 to 8am and go get our breakfast around Jalan Pantai Cenang.
There are not much food options around the street in the morning before 8am, so we just randomly walk in a food store for our first meal of the day.
I would consider this a light breakfast, as the portion size isn't big. PS: I am big eater.
Nasi lemak! You can never go wrong with the combination of anchovies, eggs, sambal and rice.=P
Mushroom omelette with some bread slices.

Okay. Here comes the highlight of the day 2 trip!
Kilim Karst Geoforest Park tour
And the tour starts now!
And by the way there are a lot of different tour packages out there with different prices, be sure to choose wisely!
(It is better to deal with those that collaborate with your hotels as they provide transport service from the hotel you stay.) =)

Some pictures I took as I explore the nature:
I only took some pictures, as I was amazed by the view around me and forgot to take pictures.
The views are much prettier than the photos I took over here.

The starting and ending point of the boat trip.
This monkey is such a shy boy. LOL

A must take-photo for the entire trip.
The beauty of nature!

We are given some time to chill on this beach.
You can swim if you want to. Best way to cool down due to the hot weather!

We went to have our lunch at a floating restaurant. And you can see in this photo: The Stringray Whisperer! =D
You just need to flap your hand in the water and the stringray will usually come to you. It also depends on whether you are a nice person. *jk jk

How I wish the portion get bigger than this.
Because I love eating fried rice with some freshly cut onions and cucumber nestled beside.
And this plate just taste so good. I may be a bit biased on this.=D

Dad trying to be the next Stingray Whisperer !

There are other activities like visiting the bat cave, feeding the monkey peanuts and also eagle-feeding sessions which I didn't take pictures of. The eagles are looking so d*** fine. They fly 'like a boss'!

What makes my trip even more memorable was the rain. It rained halfway as we are on this boat trip. But luckily it stopped after 20 minutes later and we still go on with the tour.
The tour guide who guided us was friendly and taught us about the bats(in the bats cave), some medicinal plants etc.
All in all, I enjoy the boat trip, but got sun burn without sufficient sunscreen applied.

I would recommend this trip to people to go for this boat trip, but be sure to put on some sunscreen if you are going around noon.

As it is blazing hot without much shelter to cover your beautiful skin. =D

Next stop: Cable car
Spotted Donald Duck there!
Close your eyes if you are afraid of heights!!
The best part of the cable car journey is to look down!
You can challenge your fear of height with this!
You can go to higher levels if you want to. Or you can just choose to go for only one higher level and go back down to the Oriental Village.

Looks secretive. 0.0 Its a private cable car !!
You can see the views from your cable car. And binoculars can be rented for about RM10 if you would like to have a better view of your surroundings.
Random photo shot at the oriental village.
Someone is playing with this hamster ball. Everyone that is watching from where I was holding the camera was laughing so bad at this guy. As no matter how hard he tries, he fell down in the end. Total fall: ~10times per minute
A fake horse? no! Its real.
Teabreak time
There are some street foods along the roadside including laksa and etc.

Dinner time at THE BRASSERIE!
It is time for a feast!
I was obsessed with the taste of the oily dip!

What my dad ordered. My dad is in love with the steak. My dad kept telling me how nice it tasted.

What I ordered.

What my sis ordered
Supper for my huge appetite!
Mini potrait on a badge can be drawn. Look for this store around the Telaga Seafood area if you want some cool badges like the above. =)

And we continue to do our shopping around the street till our legs are fatigue and we head back our hotel to rest. There are some events late like the fire showman at night around Pantai Cenang beach as well. But the place was too dark to take pictures. =X

The End of day 2 trip!
