Likes..

Facebook, instagram are all about the likes.
Almost everyone wants their photos to get as many likes as possible.
And some will even ask their close friends to like their photo. Or using their friends account to like all the photos in Instagram since the day they started Instagram. That's what I do and some of my friends too. Haha so desperate for likes. :P it's kinda an addiction. Addiction to approval maybe?

Why do we want to earn likes from others?
I know some of us don't care. But some of us still do care to some extent.

Probably because: All of us wants to be accepted, loved, cared and noticed by others. Having someone liking our photos make us feel that way. 

So spread the love today to those around you.
Thumbs up for people who you think deserve it. Or post a comment complimenting the person if you want. In my personal opinion, I would say a lot of you tubers should get more thumbs up, because they have put in a lot of effort in making their awesome videos.
And also thumbs up for the selfie-takers, they have worked hard too in taking & editing their photos.lol!

But anyway the main takeaway message is to see the good and positive qualities of others.
Compliment them. Like them. :D
You will feel good and they will feel good too. Win-win situation!

(Random stuffs: In Instagram, there are people who follows u and hope that you follow back.
And after a few seconds you follow them, they will unfollow you.)
arghhhhhhh. I don't like this kind of people a lot la.

Rejection :X

Things just don't go well for me nowadays. I just feel that it's tough to be human.
There are so much things that can happen that makes me feel pissed off.
Sometimes
We might ignore someone, but we have no intention to do so
We hurt someone, but we are actually trying to help them(Telling the truth hurts)
We love someone, but they don't love us
We have faith in someone, but they don't deserved to be trusted
We treat someone like our best buddies, but they don't actually care a single bit about us
We care for someone, but we don't get appreciated
We try to be nice to someone, but others think that we have purpose behind what we do
We want to make friends with strangers, but they will give us that weird look

I don't mean to be very negative, but sometimes stuffs like these happen.
Sometimes you are trying to be really positive, but things like what I mentioned above happen.
Anyway, know that you are not alone dealing with all these matters in life.

It's tough to be nice to others at times. Because many people don't appreciate it.
But rejection by others is okay.
Even if people reject you, you are still you. Nothing else changes.
Find someone else that accept you, love you and appreciate you for who you are. And if you have nobody to turn to know that you still have yourself, you don't need to depend on anyone for happiness. Be happy yourself and eventually someone will show up in your life to join your fun.

And one more thing, don't see rejection as a failure like how I used to see it.
Get up and face rejection head-on!
What doesn't  kill you makes you stronger!
If you are someone who workouts, you will know that pain/soreness is essential for muscular growth.
Rejection is also the same thing.
Haha lets treat rejection like a workout. Never get afraid of the pain and stop moving.
Let's grab a towel and go "workout"!
Recommended volume: do 3sets of 1 repetitions per day.
And sooner or later, you will be stronger and able to deal with rejection more easily. Whee~

Happy..life?

How I wish I can be happy everyday. Hmm...
I am someone who likes to do a lot of reading on self improvement stuffs.
Yeah, I know I am happy, sad or having any sorts of emotions, it is always because of the thought I am having in my mind. It is not so much about the circumstance and situation in my life.
But I just can't help it to feel unhappy or alone sometimes.
No matter what I do, there is just a feeling of not feeling satisfied of my current life.
I really wish that my life can be wonderful or as colorful as those celebrities or at least those super outgoing guy.
Anyhow, I am doing my best to get satisfied with my life and acknowledge that even though I may not have an awesome life, at least I still have a chance here on earth to experience life.
I can do whatever I love. I can watch YouTube videos. I can sing, I can dance. I can eat tasty foods. Yum. There is so much beautiful things to enjoy.
I have a friend that complains how boring life is. Everyday you need to go through the same routine/ you will die eventually. Ahh. Haha I almost get affected by my friends thoughts. Although these statements are true to a certain degree, I still believe same routine each day will bring different experience.

Let's say we need to study everyday. We can develop 100 different ways to study.
Study with friends, study alone, study with some music, studying while walking around(this is my current method of studying) and lots of other ways like watching YouTube and studying at the same time. Hahaha just saying.

We can be happy every moment if we want to. We just need to change our thoughts.
For me, I sometimes choose to be sad, I personally think it is more fun that way.
What is life to keep experiencing the same emotion. Haha
Accept every emotions that we have towards different things that happen in life.
Be happy, be sad, be angry, be passionate, be lazy, be loving, be crazy!!!!
*Life is awesome!
Create your own life movie: "the awesome ________(your name)"!!
Make sure it is worth watching.* eating popcorn.

The fear

To be honest, I am super conscious about myself in social occasions. 
I am not afraid to say it out here, because I know that I am not alone in this. 
As I have read many self help books out there, I learned tons and tons of techniques to help me cope with this problem. 

I tried some techniques of meditation, visualization, hypnosis, nlp, affirmations and reading quotes.
But at the end of the day, I still feel that the fear, doubt, feeling of insecurity are still there. 

Luckily I have come across a lot of helpful teachers on the Internet. 
The quote I learned from one of "my teacher" : 
overcoming fear is not possible. It will always be there. 
We can only embrace it and take actions anyway. 
I no longer try to overcome it anymore. 
Because 
"The more you resist, the longer time it is going to stay with you. "

Stop trying to overcome the fear. Learn to make it your best friend. 
When your fear becomes best friend with you, you will be unstoppable! 

Take actions, take actions and take actions! :) 
Sometimes you feel that there is this annoying talkative monster inside your head telling you all sort of negative stuffs, but all you have to do is to give the monster a slap on the face by taking some actions.
The monster will shut up for some time once you do the stuffs that you are afraid of. 
But the monster loves to talk about nonsense way too much. 
So it will find any opportunities to talk. 
But fear not, every time the monster shows up and talk to you, give it a huge slap,  megapunch it if necessary and it will go away. 

Although I am writing this post about how to deal with fear, I still have my fears.
You know sometimes it is easy to say, but hard to do it yourself, XD
I am still trying to learn and change as I grow older and older each day. 
Let's gradually improve on a daily basis! Gogogo!

Love random acts like this.

I am always happy to see people treating nicely towards each other.
Just some random greetings, saying thank you and goodbye just warms my heart.
I love seeing people interacting with one another and smile often. (I am someone who smiles almost twenty four hours a day. That's how much I love to smile. xD)

Today

Someone gave me two packets of food flavorings for free without asking me to return any favor.
So happy. :D small acts of kindness like this just made my day a lot happier.
I love people who treat others nicely without any intention.
I have always wanting to be treating others the same way too. But sometimes when I offer help to people, they don't seem to appreciate it that much and I have the feeling I am being good to people who don't want me to be treating them that way.

Lol anyways, do random acts of kindness today. Be it a smile or just giving someone a compliment.
It helps to brighten up people's day and yours too. :)
