Langkawi 3 days 2 nights trip (chapter 2)

Day 2 of my langkawi trip begun very early in the morning. We woke up at 7 to 8am and go get our breakfast around Jalan Pantai Cenang.
There are not much food options around the street in the morning before 8am, so we just randomly walk in a food store for our first meal of the day.
I would consider this a light breakfast, as the portion size isn't big. PS: I am big eater.
Nasi lemak! You can never go wrong with the combination of anchovies, eggs, sambal and rice.=P
Mushroom omelette with some bread slices.

Okay. Here comes the highlight of the day 2 trip!
Kilim Karst Geoforest Park tour
And the tour starts now!
And by the way there are a lot of different tour packages out there with different prices, be sure to choose wisely!
(It is better to deal with those that collaborate with your hotels as they provide transport service from the hotel you stay.) =)

Some pictures I took as I explore the nature:
I only took some pictures, as I was amazed by the view around me and forgot to take pictures.
The views are much prettier than the photos I took over here.

The starting and ending point of the boat trip.
This monkey is such a shy boy. LOL

A must take-photo for the entire trip.
The beauty of nature!

We are given some time to chill on this beach.
You can swim if you want to. Best way to cool down due to the hot weather!

We went to have our lunch at a floating restaurant. And you can see in this photo: The Stringray Whisperer! =D
You just need to flap your hand in the water and the stringray will usually come to you. It also depends on whether you are a nice person. *jk jk

How I wish the portion get bigger than this.
Because I love eating fried rice with some freshly cut onions and cucumber nestled beside.
And this plate just taste so good. I may be a bit biased on this.=D

Dad trying to be the next Stingray Whisperer !

There are other activities like visiting the bat cave, feeding the monkey peanuts and also eagle-feeding sessions which I didn't take pictures of. The eagles are looking so d*** fine. They fly 'like a boss'!

What makes my trip even more memorable was the rain. It rained halfway as we are on this boat trip. But luckily it stopped after 20 minutes later and we still go on with the tour.
The tour guide who guided us was friendly and taught us about the bats(in the bats cave), some medicinal plants etc.
All in all, I enjoy the boat trip, but got sun burn without sufficient sunscreen applied.

I would recommend this trip to people to go for this boat trip, but be sure to put on some sunscreen if you are going around noon.

As it is blazing hot without much shelter to cover your beautiful skin. =D

Next stop: Cable car
Spotted Donald Duck there!
Close your eyes if you are afraid of heights!!
The best part of the cable car journey is to look down!
You can challenge your fear of height with this!
You can go to higher levels if you want to. Or you can just choose to go for only one higher level and go back down to the Oriental Village.

Looks secretive. 0.0 Its a private cable car !!
You can see the views from your cable car. And binoculars can be rented for about RM10 if you would like to have a better view of your surroundings.
Random photo shot at the oriental village.
Someone is playing with this hamster ball. Everyone that is watching from where I was holding the camera was laughing so bad at this guy. As no matter how hard he tries, he fell down in the end. Total fall: ~10times per minute
A fake horse? no! Its real.
Teabreak time
There are some street foods along the roadside including laksa and etc.

Dinner time at THE BRASSERIE!
It is time for a feast!
I was obsessed with the taste of the oily dip!

What my dad ordered. My dad is in love with the steak. My dad kept telling me how nice it tasted.

What I ordered.

What my sis ordered
Supper for my huge appetite!
Mini potrait on a badge can be drawn. Look for this store around the Telaga Seafood area if you want some cool badges like the above. =)

And we continue to do our shopping around the street till our legs are fatigue and we head back our hotel to rest. There are some events late like the fire showman at night around Pantai Cenang beach as well. But the place was too dark to take pictures. =X

The End of day 2 trip!

3 days 2 nights Langkawi Trip (chapter 1)

Before heading to Kuala Kedah for ferry service to Kuah, we head to 600 cc in Tesco Penang for lunch. It is quite pricey (RM19.60) for one set of lunch, but I think it is still worth it as my stomach is quite bloated after finish eating the entire lunch set. And I think it will definitely appeal to those who like to drink big bowl of soup with a little spiciness in it.

Let the trip begins!

Watch movie(muted) / sleep in the ferry etc.

And so finally, we reached the jetty terminal in langkawi!

We picked Best Star Resort as a place for us to stay for the next 3 days and 2 nights.Overall experience there was okay, as it is under RM200 per night. But would like my staying experience more if more TV channels are provided for entertainment for the resting time.

Heard that there is treehouse room available in Malibest Resort. Might try it next time!

My sis leading the way to the beach! (Pantai Cenang)
Pantai Cenang is considered a quite well known tourist attraction in Langkawi. So even if it is not school holiday(around August 17th - 19th 2015), the place is still filled with many people having fun sunbathing and enjoying the sea view over there.

Panoramic view of the beach
Detailed itinerary by the blogger-me. Sincerely hopes that it works out at that time. First-time planning a trip. =D

Dinner (Orkid Ria Seafood Restaurant)
I did some research and found out about this seafood restaurant that has good recommendations from the reviewers in TripAdvisor, and so we decided to give it a try! (from what we heard, the price is not cheap, but the food is decent! and it really is if you plan to order lobster or fish like we did.)

If you prefer something below the price range of around RM 15-20, you can go ahead and try their prawns, oyster omelette, squid.

The ambience there was quite comfortable too . Do go early or pre-book your seats as it is a famous place to eat dinner. Or else ..... need to wait for quite some time. haha your hungry stomach sure wont be happy!

You can self-pick your fish/crab/lobster etc fresh from the aquarium. Freshness guaranteed!

Fruit juice! But still a bit disappointed with my mixed fruit juice. (far left in pic)

Fresh lobster !!! <3 Can never forget how it taste like. Yums!!

Steamed fish with some soy sauce. The best way to cook a fresh fish. Freshness in every bite. lol!

11 places to go to. Sounds fun!
We went booking here for our Kilim Karst Geoforest Park Tour at night before it closes at around 10,30pm. They have a lower price for those who are living in Best Star Resort & 3 other hotels.
I was so excited to see what to be discovered there. Child-like curiosity =="

Massage at Alun Alun Spa
Before and after massage, tea is provided. But the funny thing is after massage, they add in a cup of carrot. Hmm... Is it just to make the tray look better? I wonder. Anyway I ate the carrot. =X

After I read some reviews from the internet saying the staff service are really good. Yeah being there and trying the whole massage experience myself, yup they are really providing a good service, smiling and greeting us as we enter and leave. And they ask about whether their pressure is sufficient or too much for us throughout the massage.

We tried their signature full body massage for 3 of us. It is quite relaxing. haha but too bad our full body is covered with oil. Time to go back hotel and have a hot shower. Definitely recommend to do this at the end of the day! And if you have more money and would like a better experience, there is Ishan spa that offer a more luxurious massage experience. But the price is also quite "pretty". Good quality stuffs come with good price huh. =D

Supper
We ordered RM 43 (2-3pax) for 1 regular pizza choice of Hawaiian or BBQ Chicken or Pepperoni Salami +  1 Spaghetti Bolognese chicken or beef + 2 bowls of mushroom soup with garlic bread + 2 cans of coca-cola

The service of this store is pretty good, it is called Artisan Pizza locating beside the langkawi tailor shop. There are also other branches of this shop too around the area.
Mushroom soup and garlic bread. <3 love the taste of dipping the garlic bread dipping into the soup.

Beef spaghetti! Share with someone and leave some space for your pizza.

Pizza time. It would be so much better if they had a cheesy crust. =/

This drink is the best beverage choice for those who don't like the bitter taste of some other alcohol. And by the way it is cheap as it is duty free. But the best part is the taste! just the way I like. =D

Okay that's a wrap.THE END for the day 1 of the langkawi trip!
